John Rios began his Texas Law Enforcement career in 1987 and worked for two different agencies. In May of 2019 and after 32 years of police service he retired with the rank of Corporal-Detective. John was responsible for investigating felonies, misdemeanors and assisted several other States and Federal Agencies. He has over 3300 hours of law enforcement training and he is recognized by the Texas Commission of Law Enforcement as an Instructor and as a Master Peace Officer.

 

Besides criminal investigations and the administering of polygraphs other areas of responsibilities included employee background investigations, the monitoring and registering of sex offenders and the comparison of latent prints. He served on Texas Fatality Review Teams and worked closely with Children Advocacy Centers and Adult Crisis Centers.

In June of 2006 John attended and graduated from the American International Institute of Polygraph School. He now administers polygraph examinations in both English and Spanish. He attended the Post Conviction Sex Offender Testing training at the National Polygraph Academy and is current with all training requirements. John is a past President and lifetime member with the Texas Association of Polygraph Examiners and maintains membership with other associations. 

 

In June of 2019 John established Blueline Polygraph LLC., in an effort to continue to provide services on Polygraphs, Fingerprinting, Employee Backgrounds, and Investigative Services. 

 

John is a Veteran and served in the Texas Army National Guard and retired after 23 years of service.
